Apart from the above transportation there are bus and cycling networks in the city. This city lies on the banks of River Soar and at the edge of the National Forrest. There is football team related to this city that takes part in the Premier League from 2011 to 2013 and also has a home stadium named the King Power Stadium. With the latest census report in hand Leicester Unitary Authority has a population of 330,000.

Climate:

Leicester is part of oceanic climate where summer ranges from hot to cool and winters are chilly and there is even distribution precipitation all throughout the year. The highest temperature recorded in the region is 34.50C and in winter the same is recorded as -160C and the average rainfall is 685mm approximately.
